Ainia is an AI-powered mobile app designed for children aged 5-10, providing interactive storytelling experiences that foster learning and creativity. Guided by a humorous alien companion and diverse group of friends, children embark on a variety of Quests, making decisions to progress and becoming co-creators of their own stories. Ainia Quests not only cover standards-aligned content in science, history, and social-emotional learning (SEL), but also help children develop critical AI literacy.

With a background in the humanities and educational technology, I work cross-functionally with Ainia’s technical team to design immersive, age-appropriate learning experiences powered by generative AI.

• Content & UX Writing. I design, write, and optimize the AI-generated text and image prompts that guide each Quest. I aim to craft each line of dialogue and visual element with children’s creativity and developmental needs in mind.

• Prompt Engineering. I help develop scalable prompt templates to ensure high-quality, child-safe, and consistent content across Quests. I work closely with developers and designers to align AI outputs with our visual and brand identity — from quirky alien dialogue to illustrations that spark wonder.

• Research & Optimization. I study user behavior and market trends to refine prompt design and increase engagement. I also test outputs from models like GPT-4 and DALL·E 3 to ensure quality, age-fit, and educational value.

• Educational Design. Beyond content generation, I contribute to building Ainia’s evolving educational framework. I am committed to building a robut portfolio of efficacy to ground Ainia in sound learning sciences and meaningful play.

As Ainia continues to grow, I’m working to constantly refine how stories are told and learned. As a lifelong creative, I am passionate about exploring the difficult but crucial question of how AI can ethically inspire curiosity, empathy, and creativity in the next generation.
